Zombie killing

Just a quick primer on killing zombies in the field, based only on my experience. The troop count is an estimate. The lower the level of your troops, the more you will need. It is very difficult to kill zombies at a higher level than your city.

There is a buff that increases your attack by 20 percent which can be earned or purchased with diamonds in the store contained in your briefcase. Other buffs also exist which can assist, such as those added through experience to commanders or obtained through tech research.

Shields

Shields are also called bubbles. There are available in three time lengths, eight hours, 24 hours, and three days (72 hours).

Shields protect your city from attack by other players. They do not protect your troops who may be out of the city, farming a resource plot or camping.

While your shield is in place, you can attack zombies in the surrounding territory. You cannot scout or attack another player without dropping your shield.

A shield is useless in preventing zombie attacks during the Zombie Siege activity.
