Wednesday, September 10, 2003 No Ordinary Day 11
The loony left has concocted a pile of steaming feces that it calls a conspiracy theory about the events of September 11, 2001.
- They claim that a plane did not hit the Pentagon. Their proof: the hole in the building isn't "big" enough and the tail would "surely" have been sticking out.
This, of course, contradicts the dozens of witnesses that saw the plane, heard the plane or felt the plane. It also contradicts the light posts snapped by the plane as it approched. The plane hit the most heavily reinforced portion of the building, just finished, and burst into flames. The whole plane went into the building, an air speed of 300 plus miles per hours would have seen to that through sheer inertia. - They claim that the WTC towers were brought down by explosives. Look at the hole in the ground and look at the way the fascia popped off, and the way the explosions looked.
There are actually two competing moonbat theories here. Explosives in the basement and explosives in the towers. The explosives in the basement theory relies on the hole that was seen later in ariel photos. Umm... the WTC basements went down at least five stories, well over 50 feet, probably closer to 100. Clear the rubble out and there's a HOLE. The refutation of both theories is on TV nearly every week. On the Discover Channel, TLC, History Channel, we have all seen how buildings are demolished. It takes weeks of preparation, removal of vast parts of the building, and drilling and cutting of structural parts. Then explosives are placed at dozens if not hundreds of points in the building. None of that occurred at the WTC. It could not have possible been hidden or concealed. Nevermind the tens of thousands of New Yorkers who saw, with their own eyes, one or both planes crash into the buildings. Or the dozens if not hundreds of photos, movies, videos. Do they really believe that the government could alter all of that photographic information without anyone knowing it? As for the appearance of the strikes, and the resulting damages and collapse. The laws of physics will not be denied. Moonbats and loony leftists don't study physics, however. Steel expands at about 1,000 degress F., one inch per foot. Retaining pins on fascia blocks would have gotten longer, pushing the block away from the outer wall, and nearly immediately several of the pins would have failed because they were not designed for that stress. The block would appear to jump out from the tower, and a puff of dust and debries would have followed. Just as we saw in the photos. The steel support structures for the floors that were on fire would have begun to heat, and when they reached their critical temperature, would have expanded. A thirty foot long beam could have gotten nearly three feet longer. Nothing fastened together, such as the beams were, could have withstood a stressing of several inches, much less that caused by a shift of 30 inches. Catastrophic collapse, pancaking, just as we saw happen. - WTC Seven blew up first.
That's a surprise to the people in WTC 7, who felt the WTC falling on their building, and discovered the blocked exists and fires shortly after. Too many people are alive to refute this idiotic theory. - The planes were empty and on remote control by the CIA.
What happened to all the people on the three planes involved, who we know got on that plane that day? Did the government just murder them? Where? How? Too many people would have known of such a plot.
And the drivel just keeps going on and on. The loony left meme is that the government is all powerful and able to do all sorts of top secret stuff while, at the same time, being incapable of running a minor war. They forget science, the eyewitnesses, and the simple fact that no government of the United States has ever kept a secret for very long. Morons, one and all.
